…thinking too much about death is not as much fun as thinking too much about beauty.

Nice to know that The Hardman and Lolzilla are properly fathered.
I’m loathe to step into the Akermanis debate, as I don’t think that a flurry of ‘wanker’, ‘dickhead’, and ‘homophobe’ one-liners will really help address this issue….
But….. the more I think about it, the more it sounds like a thinly veiled threat…
Mukhtars Fødselsdag
Mukhtar’s Birthday is the most delightful flash mob clip I’ve seen yet. Mukhtar is a bus driver on line 3A in Copenhagen and doesn’t know that a whole bunch of people are riding along just to celebrate him. Watch it and love it.
Tears, dudes.
This is a wonderful idea - I’d love to see this happen locally.
I’d love to do it, but I am crap at most things (truly, just ask someone I know). So, who from my legion of fans will build this and make it beautiful?
I’ll help… somehow…
UPDATE: Phew, it’s a good thing I didn’t say I haven’t got enough time
Well, it took me an ashamedly long time to realise that this was not in fact a saucy photograph of Michael Jackson.
Drivers face fines for unlocked cars
This is the flipside of the social welfare state.
If you leave your car unlocked, it is a crime. It is a crime because the state considers it to be a waste of police crime to follow up on petty theft from vehicles.
The message that this send to citizens is that one should expect fellow citizens to steal from you and that if you do not take action to avoid having your possessions stolen, then you are in fact a criminal yourself.
Astounding.

Principally for Gizo, I present another cliche style photo of a retro scooter outside an obscure restuarant. From the upcoming Melbourne coffee table book “Restaurants You Can’t Find Or Pronounce”.
Where can I pre-order?
Melbourne - home of the obscure laneway delight
This may well be on its way to beciming a cliche, but it is still lovely.
